Thato Mosadi Msimango is currently the Director of EM fixed income strategy at Jefferies, a position held since 2023, after serving as Vice President in the same role from 2021 to 2023. With a strong foundation in macroeconomics and financial analysis, Thato previously worked as an Economist for South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa at HSBC from 2016 to 2021 and completed a graduate program at the Development Bank of Southern Africa in 2015. Thato holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from the University of Cape Town, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management, where they graduated Cum Laude. Additional education includes an Accelerated Development Programme at the University of the Witwatersrand.
