Ward McCarthy is a retired Chief Financial Economist at Jefferies & Company, where they served as Managing Director since 2009. They co-founded Stone & McCarthy Research Associates and previously held positions as Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and Chief Financial Economist at Merrill Lynch. McCarthy completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is pursuing a PhD in Economics at Rutgers University.
