The Jefferson County Development Corporation's goal is to advance the job opportunities, health, general prosperity and economic welfare of the people of Jefferson County, IL and to improve their recreation opportunities, prosperity and standard of living. As a result of its varied economic development tools, the JCDC consistently makes substantial contributions to increasing employment opportunities, preserving existing levels of employment and enhancing the quality of life for residents of Jefferson County.
