Curtis Meyer is the Otto Stern Professor of Physics at Carnegie Mellon University, where they have held multiple leadership roles, including Associate Dean for Research and Senior Associate Dean of the Mellon College of Science from 2017 to 2023. They have actively supervised research programs at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility and served as the spokesperson for the GlueX scientific collaboration. Meyer holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from Oregon State University and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, both earned with summa cum laude honors.
