Stephen Smith

Stephen Smith is currently the Director of Quality and Performance Assurance at Jefferson Lab, where they prove compliance with governmental and contractual requirements. Previously, as a Performance Assurance Manager at Jefferson Science Associates, Inc., Stephen oversaw compliance dashboards and revised lab-wide processes. They also held the position of Corporate Quality Manager at Synerject LLC, successfully implementing ISO registrations and an offshore manufacturing strategy. Stephen served as a Division Officer in the US Navy and worked as a Mechanical Engineer at The Greenwood Partnership. They hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Military Institute and an MBA in Operations from William & Mary.
