Peter Andersen

Peter Andersen is the Chief Research & Development Officer at Treefrog Therapeutics, where they lead innovative efforts in cell-based therapies. They previously held roles as an Assistant Professor and Director of the JHU Stem Cell Program at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, focusing on heart and muscle development, disease modeling, and gene therapy. With extensive experience in research and investment, they were a founding member of the Johns Hopkins Biotech Investment Group and serve on the board of directors for Jellatech. Peter co-founded Vita Therapeutics and has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications and collaborative networks in stem cell biology. They hold multiple degrees, including a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Copenhagen and a PhD in Cardiac Development from the University of California, San Francisco.
