Matthew Scott

Matthew Scott is an experienced executive currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Jellycat since May 2025 and a Trustee at the White Stuff Foundation since April 2018. Previously, Matthew held the position of People Director at White Stuff from April 2018 to May 2025. Prior to that, Matthew worked as Human Resources Director EMEA & Americas at The Body Shop from February 2015 to March 2018, and as Human Resources Director Middle East at L'Oréal from November 1997 to February 2015, where key responsibilities included managing HR activities across the Gulf region. Matthew also contributed as a Trustee for the L'Oreal DB Pension Scheme and worked in various HR and supply chain roles at L'Oréal. Earlier career experience includes positions as a Logistics Professional at United Transport Cameroon and various supply chain management roles. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering & Management from the University of Nottingham, earned between 1993 and 1996.
