Eric Light has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Eric started their career at Shell Oil Company as a Process Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Operations Engineer, where they provided daily operations guidance for multiple refinery units. During their time at Shell, Eric led cross-functional teams and received a Shell Leadership Award for completing refinery improvement projects resulting in significant annual savings. Eric then moved on to work at Bank of America as a Fixed Income Trader, responsible for the distribution and secondary trading of U.S. securities. In 2018, Eric joined TCG, a HUB International Company, as the Director of Investments and Trading. In this role, they manage a team of portfolio managers and traders, oversees investment models and portfolio allocations, and leads the institutional investment and cash management program.
Eric Light completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from Columbia Business School, from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, which they completed from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Eric Light also holds certifications in Series 63, Series 65 (obtained from FINRA), and Series 7.
