Aaron Cook

Aaron Cook, MBA, PMP, PSM, SAFe has extensive work experience in various leadership and project management roles. Aaron is currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer at Jer-nee Consulting since September 2023. Prior to this, Aaron worked at Nerd United as a Senior Technical Project Manager & Agile Coach from June 2022 to July 2023. Aaron also held the position of Senior Staff Project & Program Manager at Sunrun from June 2021 to June 2022.

Before that, they worked at CHG Healthcare Services as an IT Project Management Office Manager for five years. In this role, Aaron spearheaded the agile transformation of their team and successfully implemented an effective IT problem management process. Aaron also played a crucial role in vendor cost savings negotiations and the migration of on-premise Jira environments to the cloud.

Earlier in their career, Aaron served as an HR Program Manager at Micron Technology from August 2014 to June 2016 and as Deputy Director at the State of Utah from March 2013 to August 2014. With their extensive experience and a strong skillset in project management, agile methodologies, and leadership, Aaron has proven himself as a valuable asset in the organizations they have worked with.

Aaron Cook, MBA, PMP, PSM, SAFe, obtained their Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix in 2009. In 2011, they earned their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Additionally, they hold certifications in Jira Server Administration and is a Professional Scrum Master. Aaron has also completed various courses in transferable skills and career opportunities from reputable institutions such as LinkedIn and Atlassian.
