Jervois is a global supplier of responsibly produced and sourced cobalt and nickel materials, serving critical markets such as defense, batteries, and chemicals. The company provides its customers with a secure, reliable, and traceable supply of these essential materials.

The restart of Jervois’ São Miguel Paulista nickel and cobalt refinery is currently underway and, once operational, will position the company as the leading nickel and cobalt refiner in Latin America.

Upon commencement of operations, the São Miguel Paulista refinery will produce 12,000 metric tonnes of nickel metal and 2,000 metric tonnes of cobalt metal annually under the well-established **Tocantins** brand.

The restart of the SMP refinery will strengthen critical mineral supply chains for strategic sectors, including the energy transition, further reinforcing the Jervois Group’s position as a key player in the global critical minerals market.
