Ben Barden

Ben Barden is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in piloting and flight instruction. Currently serving as a Line Training Captain and Captain at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays since February 2017, Ben has a considerable flight experience of over 1,200 hours, specializing in Passenger Charter, Freight, Medivac, and Scheduled services across the UK and near Europe. Previous roles include Senior First Officer at LOGANAIR LTD and pilot positions at Lydd Air and Sky Leisure Aviation, where Ben also acted as a Ground Operations Manager. An unrestricted flying instructor, Ben has trained students for various pilot ratings and has flown multiple aircraft types, including the King Air 200 and Piper PA-31 Chieftain. Ben obtained an ATPL from Oxford Aviation Academy and completed education at Beacon Community College from 1995 to 2000.
