Hugh Pode is a highly experienced aviation professional with a robust background spanning several decades in various roles within the aviation industry. Currently serving as a Captain for the A321 fleet at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays since April 2022, Hugh previously held positions including Captain of A330 operations at Maleth-Aero and Captain of the A321 fleet at Jet2.com during an earlier tenure that was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With an extensive career at Thomas Cook Airlines Limited, Hugh commanded multiple aircraft types, including the A320, A321, A330, B757, and B767, overseeing safe and efficient operations on transcontinental routes. Hugh's early career includes experience as a Senior First Officer with Sunways Airlines AG and a Captain in the Army Air Corps, where responsibilities included command positions and flight operations.
