Liam Garside

Liam Garside is an experienced aviation professional with a strong background in piloting and military service. Currently serving as a Captain for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays since November 2016, Liam operates Boeing 737-800 aircraft based at Liverpool's John Lennon Airport and Leeds Bradford Airport. Prior to this role, Liam spent a decade with the British Army, where responsibilities included serving as a Senior First Officer on both Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 757 aircraft, as well as flying fixed-wing and helicopter operations. With a foundation in battlefield telecommunications from a four-year tenure with the Royal Signals and formal education from Bristol Groundschool and Aero Flight Training, Liam is well-equipped to pursue opportunities within the commercial aviation sector.
