Mark Buxton

Mark Buxton has extensive work experience in finance and treasury roles. Mark is currently the Director of Group Finance and Treasury at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Group Financial Controller and Head of Treasury from January 2021 to April 2023, and as the Group Financial Controller from July 2014 to December 2020. Before joining Jet2.com, Mark worked as the Finance Director at Optima Legal from September 2008 to December 2012, and as the Regional Finance Director at Towergate Partnership from September 2006 to September 2008. Mark also had previous roles as a Project Accountant at Lowell Group from October 2005 to February 2006, a Commercial Finance Manager at Thistle Hotels from 2001 to 2005, and a Finance Director at Covance from 1996 to 2001. Mark began their career as an Audit Supervisor at Deloitte, where they worked from 1992 to 1996.

Mark Buxton completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol from 1988 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended King Edward's School in Birmingham, but the specific degree and field of study are not provided.
