Mark Handford

Mark Handford possesses extensive experience in aviation training and management, currently serving as a TRE/TRI/LTC & Captain at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays since April 2022. As the Director of Training & TRE/TRI at MH Aircrew Training Ltd since 2017, Mark manages compliance with UK and EASA regulations while instructing and examining. Additionally, Mark is the Owner and TRE/TRI at MI Aircrew Training, developing an online Training Academy for B737NG training. Previous roles include TRE/TRI/LTC/CARM & Captain at Wizz Air, where responsibilities included EBT training on the A320, and a long tenure at Thomas Cook Airlines UK Ltd. as a Type Rating Examiner and Instructor for Airbus aircraft. Mark's early career featured roles as an Airline Pilot at CALEDONIAN AIRWAYS and as an Avionics Systems Engineer at BAE Systems. An alumnus of the University of Bristol, Mark holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
