Matthew Hill

Matthew Hill is an experienced aviation professional with a robust background in airline operations. Currently serving as a Type Rating Instructor and Line Training Captain at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays since April 2022, Matthew previously held the position of Airline Captain at Wizz Air from July 2021 to May 2022, and at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays from January 2020 to July 2021. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Thomas Cook Airlines UK Ltd. as both Airline Captain and MCF Captain from July 2002 to September 2019. Matthew holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with Qualified Teacher Status in Secondary Education and Teaching (Mathematics) from Liverpool John Moores University and a First Class Honours Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from The University of Salford.
