Steve Wakeham is the Deputy Pilot Base Manager at Jet2.com in Leeds. Previously, they served as a Senior First Officer at Emirates Airline from 2011 to 2016 and as an Airline Captain at Jet2.com from 2003 to 2011, where they flew Boeing 757 and 737-300 aircraft. Steve began their aviation career as a First Officer with Channel Express from 2000 to 2003, gaining valuable experience on Fokker F27 aircraft. They hold an HND in Aeronautical Engineering - Avionics from RAF Cosford, where they studied from 1984 to 1987.
