Chuck Gilley is currently serving as a Check Airman Captain for the A320 at JetBlue since October 2021, following a prior tenure as a Pilot at JetBlue Airways from August 2004 to November 2015, where responsibilities included Captain roles on the A320, A321, and E190 aircraft. Before joining JetBlue, Chuck Gilley was an Assistant Chief Pilot at US Airways from July 1987 to August 2004, with experience as a Pilot operating a variety of aircraft including the 727, 737, 757, 767, DC9, A319, A320, and A321. Chuck Gilley holds a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an Associate's degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from Florida Institute of Technology.
