David Zook

David Zook has extensive experience in aviation, currently serving as a Check Airman and Captain for JetBlue Airways since April 2001, where responsibilities include supporting the System Chief Pilot in managing over 3,000 pilots across multiple bases. Additional roles include being a member of the Professional Standards Committee for the Air Line Pilots Association since June 2020 and serving as an ETOPS NAT/HLA Subject Matter Expert. Prior to joining JetBlue, David Zook held positions as Captain and Check Airman at Trans States Airlines from November 1997 to April 2001, and began a career as a pilot in 1997. Educational qualifications include a BA in Business from Virginia Wesleyan University and an Associate in Aviation from Hesston College.
