Eric Poole

Eric Poole has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as the Newark Base Chief Pilot and Captain for JetBlue since November 2005, where responsibilities include piloting the EMB-190 and Airbus 320. Prior to this role, Eric held positions such as Assistant Chief Pilot in New York and University Gateway Program Manager, aimed at guiding aviation students towards careers in major airlines. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Captain for Midwest Connect and as a Naval Officer in the US Navy, where responsibilities included training and managing personnel in various capacities. Eric Poole holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aeronautics from the University of North Dakota School of Aerospace.
