Michael Ford is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in flight operations and safety management. Currently serving as a First Officer at JetBlue Airways since January 2020, Ford previously held a similar position at SkyWest Airlines from April 2017 to January 2020. Earlier in the career, Ford worked at Phoenix East Aviation as Director of Safety and Security, also contributing as a Certified Flight Instructor. Ford's responsibilities included managing safety initiatives and conducting flight checks under FAA regulations, as well as overseeing a team of instructors. Before venturing into aviation, Ford was a Regional Manager for Financial Crime Intelligence at Westpac Group, where strategies were developed to minimize fraud losses and enhance fraud detection systems.
