Michael Kern

Michael Kern has extensive experience in aviation safety, security, and training. Currently serving as the Manager of Security Training at JetBlue Airways since February 2013, Michael previously held leadership roles including National Sales Manager at Integrated Security Group (ISG) and Manager of Safety & Security at Aerosim Flight Academy. Additional experience includes working as Safety & Security Planning Specialist at Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) and Director of Safety & Training at ASIG. Michael's earlier career includes managerial positions at Delta Connection Academy and service as an Aviation Weapons Systems Operator in the US Navy. Michael holds a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Piloting and Aviation Management from the University of Dubuque.
