Tanner Johnson

Tanner Johnson is an experienced aviator currently serving as a Captain and previously as a First Officer at JetBlue Airways since November 2016, with responsibilities including the safe operation of flights across the United States, Caribbean, Central, and South America. Prior to this role, Tanner worked at ExpressJet Airlines from April 2012 to October 2016 as a Pilot Recruiter and First Officer, contributing to pilot recruitment activities and safely operating flights in North America. Tanner began the aviation career at Piedmont Airlines, serving as a First Officer for regional flights in the US Airways Express system and as a Cross-Utilized Agent, handling ramp and customer service duties. Tanner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from Kent State University, earned between 2007 and 2010.
