Timothy Grupp

Timothy Grupp has extensive experience in aviation and cybersecurity. As a Lead Flight Instructor at Coast Flight Training from June 2019 to September 2021, Timothy improved the FAA checkride pass rate from 78% to 95% and developed standardization lessons for courses. Timothy served the United States Air Force in various roles, including Assistant Director of Operations and Cyberspace Operations Officer, where operations for a 20+ member team were directed while managing over 100 Computer Network Operations tactics. Currently, Timothy is a First Officer with JetBlue and has held similar positions with SkyWest Airlines and MAG Aerospace. Timothy is also a Cyberspace Officer in the US Air Force Reserve. Educationally, Timothy is pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at the Georgia Institute of Technology, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with an Astronautical Concentration from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
