David Dixon

President, Jetcraft Asia at Jetcraft

As President of Jetcraft Asia since 2012, David Dixon is responsible for optimizing sales strategies and managing operations from Beijing to Sydney. A leading global authority on the private aviation sector, David has lived and worked in Asia in aircraft sales for more than 30 years and has more than four decades of aerospace industry experience. David joined Jetcraft following a long and successful career with Bombardier Business Aircraft, working his way up from Sales Director to Regional Vice President in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to Bombardier, he managed the Africa territory with both UK-based Britten-Norman (Bembridge) Limited and Short Brothers PLC. He is a founding member and former Vice Chairman of the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA).

David is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and was awarded the “Member of the Order of the British Empire” (MBE) distinction by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in 1977 for his contribution to British exports. David is also a published author. His book “I Sell Aircraft – No ‘Plane’ Business” was released in mid-2020, and details his journey into the aviation world and his years of experience selling aircraft.
