James O'Connor

James O'Connor has over 20 years of experience in human resources and compliance. James currently holds the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at KenCrest and has been with the company since November 2021. Prior to that, they were the VP of Human Resources at KenCrest starting in August 2021. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as the VP of HR, Quality and Compliance at JEVS Human Services. James also served as the Compliance Director at JEVS Human Services from 2003 to 2017. Additionally, they worked as the Compliance Director at Northwestern Human Services Pa from 2001 to 2003.

James O'Connor holds a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Penn State University, which they earned from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from the same university, spanning from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from SHRM in 2014 and the Certified in Healthcare Compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) in 2000. Most recently, in September 2021, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from HRCI.
