Gary Kearns

Gary Kearns has over 20 years of work experience in the IT industry. Gary most recently served as the Head of IT at JFC Group since June 2021. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2021, they worked as the IT & BI Manager at MAPFRE Assistance Agency Ireland. Before that, they were a Software Developer at GTECH from 2001 to 2008, and at Broker Focus from 1998 to 2001.

Gary Kearns completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Communications Technology from DCU in 2008. In 2012, they attended ICS Skills for a program in Data Protection Practitioner. In 2019, they pursued a Special Award in Business Analytics from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner qualification from Amazon Web Services in April 2021, and an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN in February 2013.
