Jamie Young

Jamie Young has extensive experience in social work and related fields, holding a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dalhousie University. Jamie began as a volunteer Research Assistant at Dalhousie University and later volunteered as a Literacy Instructor for the Learning Disability Association of Nova Scotia. Significant roles include serving as a Program Assistant at Giant Steps Toronto and as a Social Work Intern at the University Health Network, where psychosocial assessments were completed in cardiology departments. Jamie has worked as a Child and Family Therapist intern at The Hincks-Dellcrest Centre and currently serves as a Social Worker - Family Finder at Jewish Family & Child. Additional experience includes roles in various capacities such as a psychologist's assistant and therapist at Straight Up Health.
