Eric Smith

Eric Smith has a strong background in sales engineering and solution architecture. Eric is currently the Director of Solutions Engineering at JFrog, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Engineer at CodeSignal from 2022 to 2023. From 2021 to 2022, they served as the Director of Sales Engineering for Major Accounts at Lacework. Eric also gained experience as a Solution Architecture Leader for Startups at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from 2020 to 2021. Before joining AWS, Eric worked as a Manager of Solution Architecture at MongoDB from 2017 to 2020. Eric began their career as a Sales Engineer at AppDynamics from 2013 to 2017 and as a Sales Engineer at Coverity Inc. from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Solution Architect at Bsquare Corporation from 2007 to 2011. Eric started their career as a Software Design Engineer at Microsoft Corporation in 2006 and as a Consultant at Motorola in 2005.

Eric Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego. Eric also obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services in August 2020.
