Etay Avner is a Senior Software Engineer at JFrog since October 2023, focusing on developing the core security product and enhancing the security capabilities of various JFrog solutions. Prior to this role, Etay served as Tech Lead Software Engineer at Synamedia from October 2018 to July 2023, where responsibilities included leading the OTT Security department and overseeing the transition of mDRM and OTT-SG solutions to a modern multi-tenant SaaS architecture, along with designing and implementing a cloud-based Ad-Tech SaaS. Earlier experience includes roles at Cisco as a Server Backend Developer and Software Automation Engineer, where Etay contributed to a cloud-based video broadcast system and developed an automated regression testing platform, respectively. Etay also owned and managed a table tennis club in Jerusalem from January 2010 to July 2021 and served as a Telecommunications Technician in the Israel Defense Forces' Military Intelligence. Etay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Jerusalem College of Engineering, earned between 2011 and 2015.
