Orel Bitan

Orel Bitan currently serves as the IR & SecOps Group Lead at JFrog, beginning in January 2024. Previously, Orel held the position of VP Cyber Research at CyTwist from August 2021 to January 2024. Orel also worked at John Bryce as a Senior Lecturer from January 2019 to January 2023, focusing on entry-level cyber security training and the development of training materials for SOC and incident response. Prior experience includes serving as Incident Response Team Leader at Cellcom, where Orel designed proactive operations, established SOC management training, and developed an investigation system. Orel's earlier roles include Senior Security Analyst on an Incident Response Team and participation in the IAF's CIRT Team, with significant expertise in incident response, digital forensics, malware analysis, and penetration testing.
