Shachar Menashe

Shachar Menashe is an experienced security researcher currently serving as the VP of Security Research at JFrog since July 2021, after previously holding the position of Sr. Director of Security Research. Prior to JFrog, Shachar worked at Vdoo - A JFrog Company, where responsibilities included leading security initiatives and automating firmware analysis from August 2018 to July 2021. Previous experience includes leading core security at Magic Leap, focusing on OS security architecture and secure development lifecycle from April 2016 to August 2018, and serving as Research Team Leader at NorthBit until its acquisition by Magic Leap. Early career highlights include roles in research leadership and software R&D within the Israeli Defense Forces and C4 Security, with a foundational education in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
