Christopher Soares

Christopher Soares has a diverse background in finance and investment, currently serving in the Special Situations team at JGP Asset Management since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles in investment banking at XP Inc. from April 2021 to September 2023 and at Riza Capital from September 2020 to April 2021. Christopher's career also includes significant experience at Alvarez & Marsal from February 2017 to September 2020, where responsibilities included positions as Associate and Analyst. Earlier, Christopher worked as a Consulting Intern at Alvarez & Marsal and began in the finance industry as an Estagiário de Backoffice at Saga Capital from February to December 2016. Christopher holds a degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, completed between 2011 and 2017, and is a graduate of Colégio Santo Agostinho, where education was attained from 1998 to 2010.
