Will Guest

Will Guest has a diverse range of work experience in the construction industry. Will started their career as a Cost Estimator/Project Manager at Fought & Company Inc/REFA Erection Inc, where they reviewed design drawings, compiled estimates, managed project finances, coordinated steel fabrication deliveries, and oversaw safety plans on-site. Will then moved on to the role of Senior Project Manager, where they were responsible for estimating, bidding, contract review and execution, subcontractor and supplier buyout, financial forecasting, and overall project management. As the Operations Manager of REFA Steel Erectors, they oversaw all company operations and projects, including project finances, contract execution, and worker's compensation claims. Will also gained experience as a Structural Designer 2 at CH2M, designing structures in a semi-conductor manufacturing facility, and as a CSA Construction Manager at Hoffman Construction Company, reviewing design drawings and coordinating construction progress. Most recently, they worked as a Structural Engineer 2 at Mackenzie, where they analyzed and designed a variety of structures, coordinated design information between professionals, and ensured compliance with structural design code requirements. Currently, they are a Project Manager at JH Kelly, LLC.

Will Guest completed their education at Portland State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Portland Community College from 2005 to 2007 and earned an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology/Technician.

Additionally, Will has obtained several certifications. In July 2018, they received the certification of Civil Engineer in Training from the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Engineering & Land Surveying. In December 2015, they achieved the STS-C certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, and in October 2015, they obtained the OSHA 30-Hour certification from the Occupational Health & Safety Administration.
