John Northrop

John Northrop has decades of experience in the military and defense industry, including serving as a Colonel in the US Army for 26 years. John worked in a variety of command and staff positions, including as the Joint Requirements Division Chief for the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations. In 1998, they left the military and joined WBB as a consultant where they developed the Urban Operations Concept for the US Marine Corps Combat Development Command. In 2001, they founded John H. Northrop & Associates, Inc. (JHNA) and has since served as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) which serves the defense industry.

John Northrop began their education in 1968 at the United States Military Academy at West Point where they studied Chemistry and earned their Bachelor of Military Science degree in 1972. After a break in education, Northrop attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1979 to 1981, where they earned their MS degree in Organic Chemistry.
