Ron Salyer

Vice President , Army Futures and Aviation Development at JHNA

Ron Salyer has worked in various positions throughout their career. Ron'smost recent position was Vice President at JHNA, where they were responsible for Army Futures and Aviation Development. Prior to that, they were the Director of Mission Systems Engineering Services at the same company. Salyer also worked at Army Futures Command where they served as the Division Chief for Corporate Priorities. Ron worked at Army Capabilities Integration Center as the Chief for Capability Assessments for 12 years. Salyer worked at US Army TRADOC's Battle Laboratory as Chief for three years and at NASA Langley Research Center as Chief Military Engineer/PM for four years.

Ron Salyer has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, which they completed from 1977 to 1981. Ron went to the Naval Postgraduate School from 1991 to 1993 and earned a Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering. In 1997, Ron attended the Defense Acquisition University, where they studied Program Management for a year.
