Basujit Chakravarty

Basujit Chakravarty has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Basujit started their career with A P Moller Maersk in 2007 as a Maritime Officer, where they gained experience in navigation, engineering, and cargo handling operations. Basujit progressed within the organization and became a Dual Maritime Officer, responsible for shipboard machinery repair, maintenance, and operation, as well as navigation and cargo handling.

In 2013, Basujit joined Anglo Eastern as a Marine Engineer. In this role, they were in charge of the maintenance and operation of all machinery onboard. Basujit also handled tasks such as work planning, repair supervision, and ensuring compliance with statutory laws and regulations.

In 2014, Basujit joined Emirates National Oil Company (Singapore) Private Limited as a Technical/Marine Executive. Basujit managed post-fixture operations for owned and time chartered vessels, ensuring compliance with charter party terms. Basujit also provided shipping expertise to the organization.
