Kai Richardson

Kai Richardson has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Data Engineer at Jimdo since July 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at ANZ from March 2021 to March 2023.

Kai also worked as a Consultant specializing in Data Engineering at Capgemini from March 2019 to February 2021. In this role, they were involved in building data lakes using various AWS native tools, designing and implementing data pipelines, and integrating both streaming and batch data.

Before transitioning into the field of data engineering, Kai gained experience in the culinary industry. Kai worked as a Line Cook at Guzman y Gomez Mexican Taqueria from July 2016 to March 2019. Additionally, they served as a Waiter at La Porchetta from August 2011 to September 2014.

Kai Richardson began their education at Berwick Secondary College, where they attended from 2008 to 2013. They completed their Year 7-12 studies at this institution. Later on, Kai enrolled at Monash University in 2015 and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Astrophysics.

In terms of additional certifications, Kai obtained various qualifications. They completed the "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" course through Coursera in September 2019. In April 2019, they obtained a "Cert IV in Leadership and Management" from Monash Training and Professional Development. Additionally, Kai received the "Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC)" accreditation in April 2019 from SCRUMstudy. They also achieved the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2020. Finally, in February 2018, Kai obtained the "Mental Health First Aid" certification from Mental Health First Aid Australia.
