Jindawayni Consulting is a proudly Aboriginal-owned and led consultancy specialising in community engagement, strategic communications, government relations, and media management.

We work at the intersection of culture, policy, and power — ensuring First Nations voices are heard, respected, and embedded in the decisions that affect our communities.

Founded by Kokatha woman Amy Rust, Jindawayni draws on decades of experience in politics, advocacy, government, and community. From coordinating major government initiatives to leading high-impact campaigns, our work is grounded in cultural authority, strategic insight, and practical outcomes.

We partner with Traditional Owners, Aboriginal organisations, government, and the corporate sector — supporting projects that demand cultural intelligence, political nous, and deep listening.

Our services include:

Community Engagement – meaningful, early and ongoing consultation that builds trust and delivers results

Government Relations – sharp strategy and insider knowledge to influence decision-makers and navigate bureaucracy

Media & Communications – powerful messaging that respects culture and lands with impact

Crisis Management – calm, strategic support when the stakes are high (yes, think “Aboriginal Olivia Pope”)

Policy & Advocacy – from the grassroots to the corridors of power, we help ideas move into action

We don’t do box-ticking or one-size-fits-all. We listen, adapt, and act with integrity.
