Modupe Ladeji

Modupe Ladeji is the current Vice President of Sales at Jinx. Prior to their current role, Modupe was the Sales Team Lead for Pet Specialty at Mars from August 2015 to October 2021. Before their time at Mars, Modupe was a Sr Merchant for Dairy at Walmart from January 2008 to August 2015.

Modupe began their career in May 2005 as a District Manager at Murphy Oil, where they were responsible for maintaining a good working relationship with Wal-Mart management. Modupe also analyzed sales data to see which products were performing best and devised strategies to increase sales and employee performance. Regularly surpassing monthly quotas in sales, shrink and employee turnover through innovative promotions and planning, Modupe was successful in their role at Murphy Oil.

In January 2008, Modupe transitioned to Walmart as a Sr Merchant for Dairy. In this role, they were responsible for interfacing with vendors and helped execute in-store promotions. Modupe also supervised and managed 6 – 15 employees, was responsible for hiring and firing employees, and managed and controlled human resources, finances, shrink and inventory for one to three gas stations.

From August 2015 to October 2021, Modupe served as the Sales Team Lead for Pet Specialty at Mars. In this role, they were responsible for preparing new store managers for transition to store management and trained managers on company software. Additionally, they built new and existing relationships with vendors, analyzed profit and loss statements and set secondary goals for employees, executed plan-o-grams based on marketing and advertising programs, and was responsible for employee’s monthly evaluations.

Modupe’s extensive experience in sales, management, and training have prepared their well for their current role as Vice President of Sales at Jinx.

Modupe Ladeji has a MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Central Arkansas. Modupe also has a Bachelors in MIS and Management from Southern Arkansas University and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Charleston. Modupe attended the University of Jos for their education.
