Sonali Datta

Sonali Datta is a seasoned content executive at JioStar, specializing in Hindi Specials, with a wealth of 20 years of experience in the media and entertainment sectors. Previously, Sonali worked as the Executive Director and Head of Content Development & Studio Strategy at Disney+ Hotstar, where they strategically shaped content offerings for both SVOD and AVOD platforms. Earlier roles include Director at Star Plus, where Sonali built a department that integrated storytelling with consumer insights, and Engagement Manager at Kearney, focusing on consumer and retail practices across multiple regions. Sonali began their career as an intern at Lehman Brothers. They hold a B.Com (Hons) from Shri Ram College of Commerce and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
