Anna Vernon

Anna Vernon has extensive experience in research and licensing within the higher and further education sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Research, Licensing at Jisc since July 2015, Anna ensures the highest quality of service for Libraries through Jisc Collections. Prior roles include Head of Portfolio, Content at The British Library and Licensing and Copyright Assurance Manager at JISC Collections, where Anna was responsible for negotiating pricing and license terms with publishers. Additionally, Anna led the E-books for FE project, a significant initiative that provided access to e-textbooks for Further Education students in the UK. Anna began a career as a Membership Coordinator at the Association of Illustrators and holds a Master's degree in Communication Design from Central St Martins and qualifications from The Open University.
