Bella Abrams

Bella Abrams currently serves as the Group Chief Technology Officer at Jisc, starting in December 2024, where strategic leadership is provided for technology developments in the education and research sectors. Prior to this role, Bella held various positions including Director of Information Technology at The University of Sheffield (January 2019 - November 2024), Chief Information Officer at The Sheffield College (April 2017 - January 2019), and Director of Innovation and Technology at Hull College Group (March 2015 - March 2017). Bella's extensive experience also includes a lengthy tenure at learndirect Limited, where multiple roles were undertaken from September 2001 to February 2015, focusing on business enhancement and project delivery. Bella earned an Executive MBA and a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Sheffield.
