Dan Mayers

Dan Mayers is an experienced product leader and game industry professional currently serving as Head of Product for OpenAthens at Jisc since August 2021. Previously, Dan was Principal at Chelsea Digital Ventures, where contributions included launching the AR football training app Perfect Play. As a Digital Product Consultant for Skylark Interactive, Dan worked with notable clients such as Disney Interactive and NHS, providing expertise throughout various stages of product development. Dan founded and served as Creative Director at Firelight Games, managing a globally distributed team, and held roles at WE R Interactive, where Dan produced award-winning mobile games, and Eidos, focusing on project management for computer games. Dan's career also includes editorial experience at Future Publishing's Official PlayStation Magazine.
