Prior experience includes a decade at Birmingham City University, where Florence held multiple roles, including Governance Officer, providing critical support for corporate governance arrangements and assisting notable figures such as Chancellor Sir Lenny Henry and Pro-Chancellor the Lord Mayor of Birmingham.
