Gearóid Ó Faoleán

Gearóid Ó Faoleán has extensive experience in the fields of research, publishing, and tour guiding. Starting as a Tour Guide at Shannon Heritage Ltd and later at Enchanted Way Tours, Gearóid transitioned into academia and publishing, holding various positions at the University of Limerick and Taylor & Francis Group, including roles as a Journal Editor and Publisher. At Frontiers, Gearóid advanced through several managerial roles related to journal development and research integrity. Currently, Gearóid serves as Licensing Manager at Jisc. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Modern Irish History from the University of Limerick and a Bachelor of Arts in History and English from Mary Immaculate College, Limerick.
