John Kaye

John Kaye is an experienced professional in the fields of product development and research management, currently serving as the Head of Product at Jisc since November 2014, focusing on open research initiatives. Previously, Kaye led the Jisc Digital Futures Research team as Head of Change, concentrating on managing higher education research outputs and the Jisc Research Data Shared Service. Kaye has also held roles such as Senior Co-design Manager for Research Data, a board member of the Open Preservation Foundation, and Lead Curator for Digital Social Sciences at The British Library. Additional experience includes working as a Data Technical Specialist at iVEC and various policy and analytical positions at the London Development Agency and Learning Skills Council. Kaye holds an MSc in Geographic Information Science from Birkbeck, University of London, along with other qualifications in management and geography.
