Lisa Barnes

Lisa Barnes is an experienced professional in relationship management and education services, currently serving as Deputy Director of Relationship Management at Jisc since March 2015. In this role, Lisa leads a team of account managers to support members across the North of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, focusing on areas such as digital strategy and cyber security. Prior to Jisc, Lisa held various positions at Vision2learn, including Service Delivery Manager and Operations Manager, where responsibilities included managing a £4 million renewals business and overseeing a team of over 300 freelance tutors. Earlier roles included Employment and Skills Officer at Newcastle College and Administrator at the NHS. Lisa holds a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education and Training from the University of Sunderland and a Bachelor's degree in Business and Tourism from The University of Bolton.
