Mark Ayton

Mark Ayton is an experienced professional in the field of educational technology and strategy, currently serving as a Subject Specialist - Strategy (Organisational) at Jisc since January 2015, where leadership in content development for the Digital 2030 framework has involved extensive stakeholder engagement. Previously, Mark held positions at The Manchester College, initially as a Learning Technology Developer responsible for compliance and implementation of learning technologies, followed by a role managing Open Learning Programmes in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Prior experience also includes serving as an eLearning Advisor at JISC RSC Northwest, promoting technology integration across learning providers, and as a Learning Technology Development Manager at Edge Hill University, where management of a team and initiatives related to technology-enhanced learning was key.
