Philip Ayers is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security management across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Security Analyst at Jisc since June 2025, Philip previously held the position of Head of Information Security at the University of East Anglia, where significant contributions included establishing security governance, conducting tailored risk analyses, and engaging in sector-wide threat intelligence initiatives. With a track record that includes leadership roles at Norfolk County Council, Steria, Norwich City Council, Norfolk Constabulary, and CEFAS, Philip has developed expertise in compliance frameworks like PCI DSS and GDPR, as well as technical infrastructure management and consultation.
